一看到鯨鯊，兒子立刻衝上前，臉都快貼到玻璃窗了。
「哇哇哇。」他邊看邊讚嘆。
我在旁機會教育說，「鯨鯊是世界上最大的魚喔。」
「那鯨魚呢？」兒子問。
「鯨魚不是魚，是哺乳類。」
「那為什麼鯨鯊不是鯨魚？」
我正想回答，因為鯨鯊是卵生的魚類，才發現好像沒看過鯨鯊生小孩的畫面。
點開手機一查，原來科學家真的不知道鯨鯊是怎樣生小孩的，便對兒子說，「你眼前的魚，有著海洋最大的謎團喔。」
兒子晃晃頭，繼續貼著玻璃窗，露出滿意的笑容。
Once he looked at the whale sharks, my son ran to it. His almost touched the aquarium glass window.
“Wow wow wow!” He yelled in awe as he was looking at it.
Standing nearby, this is a teaching opportunity for me. “Whale sharks are the largest fishes on earth.”
“What about whales?” he asked.
“Whales are not fish. They’re mammals.”
“So why whale sharks are not whales?”
I searched for information on my phone. Scientists really don’t know how whale sharks reproduce. I told my son, “The fishes in front of you is the biggest ocean mystery.”
He swung his head, still standing in front of the glass window, with a contented smile on his face.
